Why We Started the Carbon Drawdown Initiative
We founded the Carbon Drawdown Initiative to help turn promising carbon dioxide removal (CDR) research into real-world impact. As enhanced weathering and other CDR pathways began accelerating, we saw a gap between scientific insight, early deployment, and the practical support needed to build durable projects and companies. The initiative exists to connect researchers, builders, investors, and policymakers.
