Last week we hosted the Carbon Drawdown Symposium in Erlangen, built around data from our greenhouse experiment. The goal was simple: share what we've learned, stress-test our hypotheses, and move the science forward together. It worked. Here's what I took away.

Over the past few years, we’ve been building a large dataset on enhanced rock weathering – spanning different field sites, soil types, and measurement approaches, and collecting data across multiple growing seasons.
One of the harder questions in enhanced rock weathering is not only how much inorganic carbon is removed, but what happens to the organic carbon within our soils over time.
Here’s a problem I keep coming back to: a lot of the cations we think we’ve released by weathering may not be where we think they are.
